A.P. University of Law Act has provided in Section 8(1) that the Chancellor of the University be appointed by the Government from amongst the persons of eminence in the field of law and by virtue of this provision the Government of A.P. was pleased to appoint Prof. A. Lakshminath as Chancellor of A.P. University of Law.
By virtue of the powers conferred under Section 9, the Chancellor appointed, Prof. R.G. Babu Bhagavath Kumar, as the Vice-Chancellor of A.P. University of Law.
