Dr. Sudha Kavuri graduated in Arts and secured law degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University. She pursued her studies in Law leading to the award of LL.M from the same University with first class and a gold medal. She further prosecuted her legal studies leading to the award of Doctoral Degree in Law. Her topic of research was "Socio-Legal aspects of Prostitution (A study with reference to its prevalence and regulation in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India)". She taught law in Montessori Mahila College of Law, Vijayawada for 10 years. She practised as an advocate. She was associated with journalism as sub-editor of Andhra Patrika and now she is a weekly columnist of Sakshi, a popular Telugu daily. As a columnist she renders legal advice in matrimonial and inheritance matters. She is faculty adviser and Student counsellor. She is a member of Academic Council and Planning and Monitoring Board of AP University of Law.
