Prof. Amancherla Subrahmanyam has been teaching law in Acharya Nagarjuna University for the past 29 yearbefore he assumed charge as the First Registrar of A.P. University of Law, Visakhapatnam. He was awarded Ph.D. for his thesis in the field of ‘Human Rights Law’. He held various coveted positions in Acharya Nagarjuna University such as Coordinator of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dean of Faculty of Law, Press Relations Officer, Member of the Senate and Member of the Standing Committee to Academic Senate etc., He published a number of papers in journals of repute.
